Over the past six months, the Bragato Research Institute team have visited winemakers in Marlborough, Auckland and Hawke’s Bay to hear their thoughts on what areas of winemaking need more research in New Zealand, ahead of our next wave of wine science.

We were delighted to have Dr Andrew Waterhouse from the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science and Dr Bruno Fedrizzi from the University of Auckland help lead this discussion, along with varietal-specific presenters in each region. We received some great insights, so thank you to everyone who contributed.

To capture insights from other regions and those who were unable to make the workshops, we have created the below survey.
