The Industry Advisory Group (IAG) provides independent industry insight and advice to Bragato Research Institute, helping ensure our research remains relevant, practical and aligned with the needs of New Zealand's grape and wine sector.
Bringing together experienced industry leaders and technical experts, the IAG provides a direct link between researchers and industry. The group helps identify emerging challenges and opportunities, ensuring industry priorities and real-world experience inform research planning and investment decisions.
The Industry Advisory Group replaces BRI's former Research Innovation Committee. While the group plays an important advisory role, it does not make funding decisions.

The IAG provides guidance by:
Representing industry perspectives and priorities
Reviewing research programmes and emerging opportunities
Providing feedback on funding priorities
Helping to ensure research remains relevant to growers and wineries
Members are selected for their experience, expertise and credibility across the grape and wine sector. Collectively, the group brings diverse perspectives and skills spanning conventional and organic viticulture, winemaking, commercialisation, plant breeding and industry leadership.
